What Clients Have Said About Life Rhythms …
I recommend Rochelle Chayet as a teacher, mentor, and child advocate and parenting guide.
My experience of Rochelle Chayet over the years is that she is kind, trustworthy, and thoughtful with her communication, accessible, and so very practical in her support of developing teachers and parents. She is excellent at seeing and communicating what is going well in the classroom as well as helping teachers work out any tangles or providing strategies for students in need. Rochelle provides practical advice and modeling of certain teaching methods with the classes she mentors. She is a compassionate listener, a team player, and very thorough in her record keeping, documentation. Rochelle’s calm and reverent demeanor, her sense of humor, and her practical ideas have helped many of us on our journey.
In 2021-2023, Rochelle mentored Preschool, Kindergarten and First Grade Teachers and provided guidance for parents at BVWS. I would recommend her without hesitation for most any work environment.

Rochelle Chayet has been a wonderful guide and resource to the Micha-el School. She is adept at working with parents, faculty, and harmonizing how the many supporting branches of a school can come together to meet the needs of Waldorf schools in today’s world.
She is available for mentoring; individual teacher and parent work, consensus and collaboration between school bodies, and staff retreats and workshops within the framework Anthroposophy.
If you’re looking for a guest speaker or inspiration for your staff and school, she’s highly recommended.

Rochelle Chayet has trained and mentored our Teachers (Nursery-First Grade)and has Guided our Leadership and Board since August 2022. She continues to provide mentoring for our school.
Rochelle is a skilled and experienced mentor, especially in understanding where a teacher, faculty, and school community are in need of support. She graciously offers suggestions and strategies that are grounded both pedagogically and with practicality in mind. When observing me in my classroom, she is kind and quiet, does not make me feel judged or nervous, and her feedback is clear and insightful. She is creative in working with teachers of all different levels of experience, and is gifted at holding faculty meetings where challenges arise, allowing space for collaboration, expression and resolution. She has her feet in both the Waldorf and Public Education Pedagogies, which has proven to be extremely helpful in supporting children and families with varying needs and expectations. I am grateful for her mentorship.

Working with Rochelle while getting ready to start my first year as a Lead Teacher in a Waldorf Kindergarten has been wonderful! She is knowledgeable, encouraging and easy to work with. Each meeting with Rochelle is like Christmas, as she brings so many resources, and has helped me to integrate them without pressure. It is truly a collaborative process, and I am so grateful to have Rochelle with me on my journey as a teacher this year!

Rochelle provided Parent Workshops and Early Childhood classes for mothers and their toddlers. In addition to positively teaching Kindergarten, she also worked in a teaching capacity with the 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls. She successfully led a series of social skills classes designed to address the social difficulties often associated with the adolescent years.
Rochelle has also served as the faculty meeting facilitator and as faculty chair. She proved to be an efficient facilitator with an ability to keep a group focused. As a result, our faculty learned to appreciate and to cultivate good meeting practices.
Rochelle has proven to be a multifaceted and involved member of our school community. I would recommend her as a teacher of teachers. Her sense of professionalism, courtesy, insight and teaching skills have been a true asset to our faculty and community. I highly recommend her and feel her sense for collegial relationships and respect for process, will benefit all who choose to work with her.
