The process of consensus building is one of coming to agreement on a decision made by all members of a group. It is a way for a group to unite so that every person in the group is honored and respected. During the process of consensus, it is not about compromise, rather it is a way of finding the truth together. This empowers every person in the collective decision making. Satisfying and powerful decisions are made when people connect on a deeper level and honor each part of the collective truth.
